This class is for students with little or no yoga experience. Here you will learn how to literally build your yogic foundation. In this class students will primarily focus on the principles of structural alignment. Another focus will be how to use the breath to connect the body and mind. Levels & Descriptions
This class is for students who are familiar with the basic standing poses of hatha yoga. In this class students will experience a well-rounded practice and may experiment with deeper variations of certain poses. Each class will revolve around a physical, emotional, or energetic theme. Students will be introduced to a variety of Pranayama (yogic breathing) styles and learn tools for mindfulness and stress reduction. This class is meant to further develop and expand on the principles learned in Foundations class.
This class will be taught as a mixed level flow, designed to relax and rejuvenate the body and mind. Working with strength, flexibility, and balance you will effectively unwind from the weekend and get ready to face the week ahead. This class will incorporate structural alignment principles, breathwork, and relaxation within a flowing style. Designed for students of all levels.
Saffron's Restorative Yoga class provides a deeply therapeutic and
relaxing class that soothes frazzled nerves and promotes mental and
emotional well-being. Restorative yoga uses props to support you in
comfortably holding long-held postures. The support of props and
surrendering the urge to "do" allows you to calm your nervous system and
restore mind, body and spirit.
Saffron's Yoga On-the-Go classes allow you to fit in your yoga practice,
even when you only have a limited amount of time. Open to all levels.
