What yoga means to us?

Yoga is made up of 8 limbs.  Each limb is meant to connect body and mind to bring further peace and harmony to the practitioner.  The most popular limb of yoga is Asana.  Asana is sanskrit for posture.  Each physical posture in yoga focuses the mind and connects the mind with the body.  The yoga postures bring vitality, peace and well being to the practictioner.

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable that you can move in.  We recommend that tops and pants are not too baggy so that the instructor can see your alignment.

Need a Mat?

If you have a mat, feel free to bring.  However, we have mats available for your use at the studio free of charge.

Do I need special shoes for my class?

We recommend yogis practice with bare feet for all Yoga classes.

Should I eat before class?

An empty stomach is recommended for the optimal class experience. It is ideal to wait 1 hour after a meal or a half hour after a light snack or drink.
